The religious text of Islam

Islam’s original sacred text is the Holy Quran, which was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad PBUH of Islam 1,400 years ago. Gabriel revealed this angel in installments, and it took about 23 years for the whole book to be revealed to the Prophet, and the Prophet recited it as it was revealed to him. Therefore, in our view, for Muslims, the Qur’an has not been written by human beings, it has not been modified or commented on by the Prophet, it has been written directly by the Prophet Muhammad PBUH, the angels. The source is the direct transmission from God to human beings.

When was the Holy Quran written?

According to Muslim literary sources, when the Prophet died in 632, the Qur’an did not formally exist as a regular text but was written on ‘palm-leaf poles, scattered intoxicants, shoulder blades, limestone’ Was and was memorized in the hearts of men. ‘ During the reign of one of Muhammad’s successors, Caliph Uthman (r. 644–656) compiled a standardized version of the Qur’an and distributed it among the central centers of the Islamic Empire. Although the caliph’s original codex did not survive, introducing a specific text is recognized as one of his lasting achievements. One of the earliest manuscripts of the Qur’an, dating to the eighth century, is housed in the British Library. It contains more than two-thirds of the full text.

Because writing in Arabic was not fully developed, the older manuscripts were copied in a script that is said to be flawed. The script did not have a system for interpreting long and short headings, and dialectics were occasionally used to identify individual characters. In later versions, scholars developed hints to represent short ends in the form of carefully placed red dots. They were eventually replaced by lowercase letters and lowercase headers in the form of strokes.

The central message of the Qur’an

The Qur’an serves as the foundation of Islam, and its teachings are important in understanding Islam. Based on the article, it can be concluded that the main themes of the Qur’an are God, the Prophet, man, the divine scriptures, and sin. God is Most Merciful, Most Forgiving, and He is above all in the heavens and the earth. Man is guided by the holy scriptures that Prophet Muhammad PBUH. Through the heavenly scriptures, God can save man from sin.

Evil begins with Iblis (Satan), who always tries to deceive man for disobeying God. God forgives those who believe in Him and do what He wills. The prophets, as shown in the Qur’an, reside with God in both heaven and earth, and they will gather all people together and bring them before Hell. When man pronounces judgment, man will have to kneel before Hell. Rewards will be given to men who walk in the way of God.
