The Qur’an is the word of God. It is the message of God. So if you want to be close to Allah, recite His Word, read His message to you.
The more you know the Qur’an, the higher it’s status
The Prophet (SAW) said to someone who is devoted to the Holy Quran. Recite and read the way you use to recite in the world. Your recitation will be on the last verse. So the more you recite, the higher your rank will be.
The Qur’an will be an intercessor for his companions
The Prophet (SAW) said: Recite the Holy Qur’an, because indeed the Holy Quran will come on the judgement day and will intercede for its companions. So who are the Quranic Companions? Those who are dedicated to the Holy Qur’an. Those who always recite the Quran during the day.
Be an expert or not. There is a special reward for you
The Holy Prophet (SAW) said that an expert in the Holy Quran would be a good companion (angels). And the one who struggles while reciting the Qur’an has a double benefit. Either way, you have an advantage!
But, unfortunately, many Muslims do not have time to recite the Quran. We always watch movies and listen to music, TV series, reality shows, games, but we don’t have time for the Qur’an. Let’s change and recite the Qur’an.
